BRANCH 604 BURSARIES

Fom the Legion Poppy Manual:

APPROVED USE OF POPPY TRUST FUNDS
"the granting of bursaries to students who are Veterans,
children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, spouses
or surviving spouses of Veterans; who are in need of
financial assistance. Bursaries may be awarded at
any stage of a college or university program."

BRANCH 604 is pleased to offer two (2) $500 bursaries annually to students moving on to secondary school studies. The criteria for acceptance:

• Must be the child, grandchild or great grandchild of a 
  member of Branch 604 in good standing who has a veteran background in his/her lineage.
• Correct filing of this application
• First come first served basis

Ontario command bursaries

​Ontario Command also offers bursaries. The Bursary Program opens in September when Students are physically on Campus. The deadline to apply is the last Friday of March 2023.
