Remembrance day at branch 604

Every November 11, at 11:00 AM, Branch 604 holds a service at the Cenotaph by the Municipal Centre to honour our fallen veterans. In the few weeks before the service, we also distribute Poppy Boxes to collect for our Poppy Fund, along with taking Wreath Pledges for the same purpose.

Poppy funds are held by each Legion Branch and are distributed, under very strict guidelines, to authorized services for the benefit of veterans, chiefly, and some Poppy-related Community purposes (like our children's poster awards, for example). 

​Our Service is followed by a pot-luck lunch at the Legion - open to all.
